Thank you for taking a look and boy this is a long read. Lets go to the basics, therapeutic, essentials, massage and more. What are Pure Oils and what is the difference between them and essential oils? What are carrier Oils? For most of us out there the most common knowledge is that essential oils are aromatic and widely used for massage, aromatherapy, body care and skin care. Depending on the type of essential oil, each product provides an absorption benefit to your body or skin. In fact pure oil, carrier oil, flora oil are not commonly mentioned and unknown to most people.
Essential Oil
'a natural oil typically obtained by distillation and having the characteristic odor of the plant or other source from which it is extracted.'
Clear and simple a distillation process to provide the natural oils that come from the plant as well as the scent of the plant applied commonly in massage therapy.
Carrier Oil
Another term for Pure Oils usually used with other products such as essential oils for general body application. It is where all the nutrients and natural protection does its job.
Pure Oil
Pure Oils such as Almond, Macadamia, Avocado, Jojoba, and many other nut bearing base products are extracted in two ways. This is the base product and if 100% pure, provides you the optimum affect in naturally protecting you against rancidity. The norm is heated process of pure oils, often to give you a desired smell or scent. However in this particular process, its refined and thus will not be considered as 100% pure due to additives.
